Why is it not recommended? I know SVT said that at the Snoball, but I didn't see a reason.

SVT is Ford....You will never hear any factory employee suggesting you make modifications to the factory set-up, it's SOP.

Does it void the warranty?

Eh it depends on your dealership some dealerships will look for something to blame so they don't have to do work but some dealerships don't notice or don't care. Now of something goes wrong with any suspension part then they could say it was caused by adjusting the shocks from the factory position and thy could void it.

Jamal said "he wished the adjustment rings were never on them. The Raptor was designed and tested at bottom perch and that is where it should stay."

Either do it yourself or have a 4x4 shop do it, not your stealership. Majority of dealerships never heard of perch adjustments & wouldn't even know it was adjusted unless you tell them. So I don't see how it would void your warranty.

I called a dealership near me and they had no idea what I was talking about. I had to explain to the service tech that the shocks were adjustable. So if I take it to a 4x4 shop I'm pretty sure the dealer won't even notice. Service tech said all he has is a generic book for the F150 nothing on the raptor and has never even looked at the raptor suspension.

Now that is confidence inspiring.......:Nonono:
