My buddy had his 2005 F-150 lifted at Offroad Unlimited and it rolled out with 13" of lift on 38" tires. Big ass truck and he knew all the guys at the shop. I've spoken with Miss Kitty that works the counter and Hunter (the owner of the white Suburban on 54s) before. Personally, I think the price is a little high. All your doing is removing the struts from the truck, compressing the spring, removing the shock, moving the retainer clip to mid perch, and reassembling. Yeah, it took a buddy and I about 4-6 hours with air tools and a hand held compressor. Don't get me wrong, it sucked and I don't want to do it again...but I could put $350 towards other mods. I'm surprised no one is doing it for less. If you can't find it cheaper anywhere than I'd do it at Offroad Unlimited or at LSURaptor's contact.

Great info ETalian2005. I feel better about either direction now. ORU is real near the house, so I might just use them. No way I would tackle that on my own :)

Ehh...it sounds harder than it is...then again, I've never dealt with offroad shocks before so it could be a much more significant PITA. Also, you must live near me in Houston...I'm only about 15 minutes away from ORU.

ya, I am about 1 minute away from ORU :) Just havnt done any business with them until now. I have a 4 Wheel Parts place the same disctance away and they have more cooler stuff for less serous off-roaders. ORU is more of a big boy shop.

today was spent at Sugar Hill Off Road Park on Bissonnet. Got the Raptor filthy muddy and had to , sad to say, get pulled out of the bog by a monster truck.

Oh nice...any chance you live off of Eldridge? Tons of homes over there.

And yeah...the stock BFGs aren't too good in the mud...get some Toyos or other M/Ts and it'll a whole other ball game.

Subdivision near 6 @ Westheimer called Briarvillage. Older homes, but we have been here forever.

I wonder how TDoT will feel about my new sticker placement? :fishing1:

I'd just go to the place closest to you based on convenience. Southwest alignment does great work though. There's nothing special about aligning a Raptor. He was able to align it on top and mid with no cams....
