Ive got the same style flaps on mine, but mine have Raptor written in Blue instead of Fox. Very nice nice though =)

+1
Although, I haven't installed mine yet.

REPTAR, Thanks for the write up, it will come in handy while I'm putting these on this weekend. Can you pose a pic of the inerwheel well of the front? I'd like to see how they look with the section you had to cut out. Thanks again, rockin post :peace:

this is the front wheel liner without the flaps installed. you see the raised part of the liner about even with where the flare ends?

Here's the flaps installed up front, you can see that the flaps are about even with where that raised section of the wheel liner is. If I didn't cut the flaps they would sit a little cocked being overlapped. Cut around it they now sit nice and flush with the fender flare plastics. The other thing you could do is just install the flap down lower like some guys have done, but you're reducing ground clearance and the flaps may rub on stuff. Up front that is a concern just using self tappers in plastic. And also with them sitting lower they stand out more flapping in the breeze more. With where mine are, 12" off the ground, even hitting mud puddles they still sit low enough that it keeps ALL crap from being slung on the paint, yet still high enough they aren't standing out or dragging on anything offroading.

I got them installed over the weekend. I used #10 SS self tapping screws, 1-5/8" long on the fronts.

I'll get pics tonight and post them.

I can't believe that I just washed the blue beauty, but it's already this dirty. Here are some pics, at least one of them I took while it was clean. I ordered the gray Raptor logo. Looking at them now, I think I would have gone with the blue. The gray doesn't stand out much. Good luck in your decision. :waytogo:
