There are tons of other vehicles better for this family’s situation. If $$ didn’t matter you wouldn’t be worried about $5k.

Wife - If you are 5'7" + the raptor would not be a problem but anything shorter loading your kids into a child desegnated seat might get to be a PIA after a while even with the running boards. My wife is 5'2" - Get a more feasible car for a couple of years - When the kids are older, buy anythng your hearts desire.

I dont understand this advice coming from Raptor owners... Please pay the $5K or more and get what you want!!! my 2019's resell value will be higher if everyone pays $5K over MSRP for a new one... and since i paid $4k under MSRP brand NEW in Dec 2018.. well, i like the results..

I concur with the majority here; I have actually purchased my GEN1 and GEN2 at $500 below MSRP; I would add that they were not the first year runs so the "excitement" had died down but there were still other dealers that were charging $5K over! Find a good dealer.

I would do it, especially if they can get the truck. In NC a lot of dealers are only getting one truck. One I called said $20k over sticker. They are getting over sticker for explorers currently.

I think it depends on your personal situation, truck production won’t catch up with demand for quite a while. If the dealer is close and has a good service department it might be worth it.
