So what is the deal with this exhaust. I really want it for my 2014 when it gets here but I keep reading lots of negatives about them falling off or drooping with poor clamps. Now I don't plan any wild off road stuff but I don't want my cat back to fall off either. Please, any owners out there.........how you like the system. I have yet to get an response from SW on this.

Mine is holding up but I do double check my clamps every so often. Get somebody to weld it in place and u will have no worries. It would hurt to add a hanger too

Add a hanger for sure after the muffler. SW is supposed to be redesigning the 1 into 2 to fix where the welds failed

Thanks for the info. My installer doesn't wield. I should not have to make alterations on a 900 dollar exhaust system. Shame on Stainless Works. I really expected more from them.

How it was explained to me is that if installed properly there shouldn't be any issues unless you really beat the shit out of your truck... HITH took a toll on some SW setups. By properly installed I mean proper welds, adding in an extra hanger, and making sure the system is securely in place. This is not experience, just what I was told. For someone who hires a shop to do this, I can see why you wouldn't like this. For me, I'll be able to make the appropriate installation changes right in my garage so it doesn't bother me.

I agree it's fixable. There were failures before havoc. Had one on sdbr and for the most part that was just overland exploring, if I recall the failure happened doing donuts in a gravel parking lot.

Knowing the use of the vehicle when you spend that type of money on a system you hope they take that into consideration. Granted some are street queens but not all.

Other systems have held up the same abuse for less cash.

I know a member with a magnflow catback that has done every event east of the Rockies this year and it's just clamped and has held up well.

The system is fine but they are redesigning it. SW makes a great system. The new system will be a lot less aggressive I have two mufflers on my system and a new bracket setup they just installed it a month ago there are some good things to come. There are a lot of people that have bashed there stuff from rock crawling and pounding there stuff off road people forget why rack trucks cost so much money they think they can buy a raptor and be Ivan Stewart these are production trucks if you pound them they will break they are not purpose built race cars. Also I will say install has a lot to do with the longevity of the system is it welded clamped both it all makes a difference.
