still very new idea with raptors...These companies offer kits and the only one that has them available online for sale is brenthal. I know that RPG is doing testing now to release the kit later this year.

Outlaw offered a kit but I think you need to call for pricing. SDHQ makes one as well.

I personally am waiting for the RPG kit as they have developed a way of getting 19" of travel and keeping stock track width.

Good Luck

The LT is not new and has been out for over a year. Outlaw does offer the kit. Of course you need to call for a price because it is highly customizable. Most people are not tube framing from the cab back (My truck, RSV 1). It is an option. We all know I have it and am an advocate for Outlaw. I have tested the ORP parts to excessive length and abuse including a roll over in which no one was hurt and the truck was driven off. They work and take the abuse.

I guess what I meant was that not a lot of people are running them so he wasn't going to get a lot of feedback out of two people

Sprsnk,

Also I really like the look of outlaws setup. It looks very clean and well engineered. I haven't seen many pictures I the rear, but is the bed cage integrated into the tire rack on your truck? And was the new rear axle mandatory with the spring under?

Raptor Performance Groups long travel front kit was designed from the ground up to retain the factory width of the vehicle. This decision was not made just for aesthetic reasons alone, but to also ensure proper driving and steering dynamics of the vehicle. The average front and rear width of a Trophy Truck is about 90” wide, thus creating ruts in and lines in the desert that measure as such. We didn’t want to design a system that would have the front end so wide that it was driving outside of the driving line (groove) created by these big horsepower/wheel travel vehicle resulting in a vehicle that chase’s the groove as oppose to settling in and powering through it. This stock width front end mandate was also important for overall chassis dynamics. By retaining stock width in the front, the rear is still in line with the front end retaining the chassis balance designed from the factory. This assists in a predictable steering setup resulting in a very drivable truck.
The RPG long travel kit was designed to address the 3 following areas of driving dynamics for the Raptor.

1. Travel, we had a targeted goal of 19” of front end wheel travel and achieved every inch of it.
2. Improve steering response via pivot location, eliminate the bump steer that apparent in the factory Raptor and to eliminate the violent side to side motion through the steering wheel under hard breaking in breaking bumps
3. Anti-Dive. When you start getting into the high teen range of front end travel, nose dive tends to become a large issue under hard braking. Our upper J-Arm was designed from
the ground up to reduce large amounts of nose dive in the vehicle.

This leads to a stable and controllable drive both in the dirt and around town.
The RPG Long travel setup uses a Fox Racing Shox 3.0” (16”) Dual rate coil over and a Fox Racing Shox 3.5” (16”) External by-pass shock for all the damping control you will need with plenty in reserve. Control arms, knuckles, shock towers and all supporting hardware is 4130 heat treated, FK rod ends and spherical bearings is our preferred choice. Half shafts are 300M material, and all supporting brake lines, vacuum hoses and fittings are supplied to retain your 4wd system.

In the coming weeks we will be going into great detail about our system so everyone can see the little details that separate the RPG system from the rest. We will be taking extensive video for everyone to see and will be working directly with Fox to nail down the shock setup.
Our goal was to create a system that is daily drivable, yet crazy fast in the dirt. We didn’t just focus on a travel number; we focused on how we can make the entire vehicle drive much more dynamic in the dirt yet very livable for daily use.

Boom goes the dynamite... Out goes the double wide LT kits, can't wait for the details, pics and videos.

RPG, of course the kit won't be bolt on, modifications will be needed for the stock Raptor? Will you go into what the stock Raptor would under go when going with your LT kit? And maybe a ball park $?

My truck has a front track width of 92" and it steers predictably AND handles great on road and off road, and it's definately "Driveable" because I drive it everyday.ha!
what you might find interesting is the engineers at Ford that were involved in designing
the Raptor actually wanted it to be WIDER... the reason the Raptor has the track width that it does, is simply because it is the widest they could make it while still fitting
on the standard F150 production lines.....
