I love that color - wish Leadfoot was available when I got my 19'.
I also know where you are coming in terms of the interior, but over time I have really come to love the utilitarian interior. It gets the job done and imo fits the truck. Drive it well and congratulations!

Just dot my 4th gen 2 in Leadfoot and love it. I don’t understand why everyone is so in love with the Ram interior. 802a has all u need. Upgrade to Phoenix when bugs are out. Better than Ram offers.

I bought a 19 Ram 3500 HO Limited Cummins for use in my business and just never quite loved the truck. I made the mistake of getting the factory air bags and for some reason it just rode terrible. The Asin transmission was very slow and annoying through the first three gears. I never even ended up towing with the truck as I use my semi trucks for that so I decided to try a half ton and take a break from diesels.

Just got a deal I liked and pulled the trigger on a 20 Raptor. Only 50 miles on it so far but I’m already liking it. Very excited to get a few more miles on it. The steering is surprisingly stiff even coming from a 1 ton truck but other than that I like about everything so far.
I will say the interior is a pretty big downgrade coming from my Ram Limited but that’s the one sacrifice I had to make.

You will find the truck performs really well in many areas. Not to compare with a 3500 Diesel for payload or two, and you know that when you switched. But for everything else it’s quite a truck.

Try the steering in comfort mode if you like really loose and somewhat sloppy steering feel. I’d almost say you may need to add a bolt on turning knob to the wheel at that point lol. I like steering stiff and quick.

I read that the Raptor uses a unique steering box than the run of the mill F-150’s. My guess is it’s because of the heavier wheel and tire combination.

Interesting. Learn something new all the time. I knew the transfer case is specific to the Raptor as well on another note.
