Just talked to ford performance, this is the first status change since 12/4. She said it's in transit. End date of the 25th. Keeping my finger crossed.

This entire debacle with these trucks is a mess. Nobody seems to know where the trucks are, how long they will be there, any remotely accurate time frame of when the trucks will be ready to ship and when they do come up with some info you find out later it wasn't even accurate.

Pretty disappointing situation from a dealers perspective and a consumers perspective since I'm on both sides with tis one.

Hopefully they are correct with your trucks status. As the backlog with early build fixes gets sorted out and the trucks get sent out the process should be back to normal and the status info should be more accurate. Until then its all magic 8 ball for answers.

I almost hate to type this but F/P said not only is my future vehicle no longer at ramp 59, it’s made it’s way to PA on the way to VA. I even got an ETA, but that would just jinx it more.

Hopefully the internet will still be here when I finally get the truck :)

My trucks status is some what comical at this point.

Vehicle visibility status: "released awaiting shipment" since 12/17
FP status: See above
Our Ford rep: "at railhead awaiting transportation"
My status: irritated with the wait and uncertainty

Avalanche grey crew cab, 802A ordered 9/4, built 11/18, held for quality and released around 12/15. Waiting to be picked up and shipped, I live 2 1/2 hours away. I FINALLY found out where my truck is, it's on the island of misfit toys, and has been forgotten.

Darin,

As my ****** neighbor would say: “These are definitely first world problems” :) When I say ******, I mean LEGIT, O.C., not some wannabe ‘feel the bern’ US type, I’m talking full on moved out of Soviet controlled territory to the most left leaning, socialist haven in the Galaxy. Boston, MA.

Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire. He’s fond of telling me ‘I never had FSB come to my parents house to tell us our grass was too high like I have here in VA, land of the free’.

Things could be worse, like... Army ******** up anything to do with your pay. If you think getting a Raptor takes a long time, just try your hand at getting some snot nosed officer to admit he was wrong and cough up your money.

we have health and good fortune, if b!tching about not yet delivered trucks on the internet is our biggest gripe we’re living good.

Oh I'm sure our trucks aren't lonely. lol I believe there are a crap load of them sitting out in a snow covered field just waiting to be the next "toy" chosen from the pile.

Oh I get that. My phrase is "It can always be worse".

But really that's not a fair analogy for this situation. Sure it can be worse or it's just first world problems but honestly it comes down to just giving us some accurate information. I don't care if Ford doesn't want to disclose the issues that need fixed or corrected but at least give us some realistic information on when we can expect our vehicles. If I or my customer knows they have to wait another month then so be it. We may not be happy about that but at least we have a time line and prepare ourselves ad our situation for the wait. It would be different if Ford really didn't have any idea and couldn't tell us anything. But that's not the case here.
