My dentist and my chiropractor would have liked that. :) I tried different speeds, from slow to as fast as I dared. The sand unstuck thing does look cool. I'm going to go out on my limb of ignorance and guess that it works great on smooth obstacles and less well on steps or loose rock. I'll be quizzing the folks at RA about this in an attempt to become less ignorant.

Please share any inside info from the RA guys. We can all benefit from expert insight.

It sounds like I need to experiment/play with it some more. I'm curious to go back to that same spot and see if it does it again. Maybe it would have settled down if I hadn't turned it off when it started surging. It was jumping between too much throttle and no throttle. If it keeps acting wacky I'll take it back to the dealer. It's going in anyway whenever my new front camera comes in. Sounds like most of them on 2020's are going out. They didn't even want to look at it before they ordered the camera.

Thanks for all the good replies.

4H is too much stress on your engine and transmission on a steep hill, use 4L especially if your going slow.

Mine was vomit inducing below 8mph. Set it to 12-15 and the surging went away. But i do have a Cobb tune with the accelerator input set higher.

I guess it all depends on the trail situation. Looking forward to the raptor assault class in a couple of weeks.
