Why did you remove the sway bar?

I remove them on all of my offroad applications, for freer articulation and true independant wheel travel. It's not for everyone! I like it, and in my mind it is the thing to do for me. I do not like the idea that if I hit a bump or ditch and one wheel is sucked up in the suspension travel that it is trying to force the other side to go in the same direction and consume a portion of that wheels travel.
You do get some more body roll, mid perch seems to counter act some of that. If Ford SVT was really on it they would incorporate a electronic disconnect for on and off road mode, per say..
Run what you think is right and lead, don't follow!!! LOL

Okay, I ran the wire for my remote head out from under the overhead sun glass holder. It took a screwdriver and made a slight indent in the headliner so it would lessen it from pinching the wire/s.

I Fished the wire from the Pass side (coat hanger straightened)

I removed the visor so the headliner would drop down more for us big handed guys, oh I put fender washers on the back side of the headliner of remote head mount for larger footprint.

I ran the wire back across to the B pillar and snuck it in behind the rubber and plastic down to the floor, then fished it over to the slit in the carpet I made for wires to exit

I also brought the coax from roof mounted antennas in under the carpet, but from the rear pillar. I have taken BigJ's suggestion for the moment and used the cig plug to the radio, will run a hard ground (ran out of daylight)

I used MNO mount drill in antenna mounts, I have one for VHF and one for UHF so far. I have a moon roof so had to install towards the back. While you have the headliner drooped down, do as I did and sneak some Dynamat to the underneath of the roof, to deaden sound and more insulation! I will use the low profile antenna for the most part, but will carry the 5/8 whip in case I need some brute force!

Power that bad boy up... Yeah, had it on the local air strip freq, they talk more.....

I place this project at a 3 beer scale, added one beer for getting up gumption to drill the roof!:snoopfacepalm:
