Okay, so there is plenty of write ups on install of hood mounts, so I will skip all that, but add my twist:

Okay, so it just so happens I have a adjustable clothes hanging rod, extend and quarter turn and she stays Pre load it to force back down some....

I used a tie down strap to hold the hood forward as it tends to want to creep back

Loosened the bolts took them out slid bracket in (plastic cut before hand per other writeups) put bolts back in line up bracket to sharpie outlined marks and snug tthe front bolt, lower hood tighten back bolt then tighten front bolt. Check bolt tightness and remove clothes rod.
I found this to be a one man job and only consumed one root beer, not even a one beer job! Did this in less than hour after work. Will mount lights in coming days!!!

Well upfitter 4 is now active!!!!! D2's with driving lens

Wiring went as well as everyone says, lots of tight places and an occasional swear word!!! Friggin hands are too big....

Is that the factory spray in liner? You going to do full beadlocks with Ford kit?

Ok, I have missed some questions...
duplicolor rubberized under the fenderwells
radio is IC 706 MiKll
liner is herculiner rolled on
I doubt I will get the "real beadlock rings"

Alrighty then, Intercom time. I took a drive down to PCI (not pushing wares) and met with Roger (another Ham operator with Raptor and similar radio) and he hooked me up with an intercom. I had called a competitor (rugged) but they could not connect my radio to their unit, so no sale! The intercon I went with can support 4 persons, but I have only wired for 2 so far. I wanted a semi-covert location, so went with the center console and there is a power outlet in there (perfect)

So, I cut a hole in the top sliding tray and inset the unit. I can pull it out to see ports or remove intirely and can slide it side to side as needed!

I went with the street legal headsets for cruisin/chasing or for riding solo and can talk on radio for rag chewin, and got helmet kits to install for when we twist it up some.....

It has a jack for audio in from MP3, Ipod or whatever you want. I did not go bluetooth, as I have 2 other BT devices and I don't want them fighting....

PTT - Push to talk, so far I have it velcro'd to the shifter or until I find a better spot.
Fairly easy install, about 2 hours, most of that scratchin my head on where I want things. One beer job!

Intercom install part 2: I ran the cables and connector up the back of the seat and exited the holes at the headrests. Luckily Ford has zippered covers that made this easier to fish the cables.

Now the plug is head hight and ready to plug in and not rattling around...

I have stored headsets over the headrests but can be easily lowered into the back of seat pouches to keep out of sight....

Here shows both headsets ready to go.......

I tiddy'd the cabling a bit with plastic loom, and yes that is part of my interior led lighting (in blue) to match truck color. Yeah, gonna catch hell with the Fast & furious comments, and no my name is not O'Conner or Turreto!!!

All in all it was easy part of the install, only a couple of Mountain Dews...
