I always do mine manually. I find that the computer shows about 1 mpg higher than the actual mpg.

Yes: My findings are 0.5 to 1 mpg gallon error between manually and computer (computer displays better than it manually computes)

Yep mine is the same. There is also a .8 to 1.5 gallon usage difference.

Anyone ever notice a difference in "miles to empt" when filling with different gas?
I'm a cheap bastard so I always use regular (i think it's 87 here) but the other day I spoiled my truck and used mid grade. I fill to the click every time, and i get like 330-340 to empty. With the mid grade it shot to 435. I figured it might be the MPG screen prompt (since thats what it runs off right?) so i reset that and drove normally. and it still was way up there

I get close to that 400 mark with e-30 any where from 397-406 costs a lot less and has more octane. I normally fill at a quarter or just above. alto I have drove tell the light came on but didn't look at the miles could

e-30 is around 98 octane or more
