Oldest Order Still Unscheduled?

I was the first order. My dealer is getting 3 allocations. Right now the dealership only sold 2 of there allocations because they didn't want a 3rd person waiting for an order. My order got bypassed because i have carbon fiber and beadlock wheels.

My dealership is having to barter to get there allocations. For the first one to get pulled they had to agree to take a focus electric. That truck just showed up last week.

I was told that to get there 2nd allocation they had to take a Taurus sho. So my order should be pulled any time now. My dealer is also fighting with there regional guy to get my truck built with cf and beadlocks. If not they will put my order in without them.

Long story short i should be getting my order pulled any time now.

I hope it works out for you mwright! As stated before, there definitely has to be a level of trust with your dealership that they are treating you right and fair! I suspect some people on this forum who are currently experiencing extreme long delays for builds, (((might))) have either had there allocation taken by someone else or that particular dealership can't get the allotment from Ford.

Some dealers I suspect, would sell peoples raptors out from underneath them for the "higher bidder." Some dealers put you on a list and that is exactly where your at and will be until your order get's fulfilled.

I have had conversations with the owner of the company. This dealership is trustworthy. I'm getting the truck for 3000 under msrp so a little waiting isn't a big deal.

Just got off the phone with my guy. Great news!!! My truck is getting picked up with both cf and beadlocks!!!!

Might I suggest a revision to your tracking above?

Simply having the order date is not showing the big picture. It's not an apples-to-apples comparison.


What it needs next to the order date is the dealers total number of allocations and where you fall in that number.

Well as far as I understand it, some dealers are making up the number of the allocations they have. I went down to a local dealer as they had one on the lot that was close to what I ordered. I was talking to a sales manager and when I asked him how many allocations he had for 2017, he said "24 or was it 27 or maybe more".

And given the issue around CF, a 3 of 3 could come in before a 6 of 13 (me).

I started the thread so those of us waiting the longest (for whatever reason) knew we had company.....and I was bored since I have no Raptor to play with.

Ordered on august 21st i was number 4 of 6 in allocations. Allocation was finaly given in december where i received a call from dealer asking me to deop cf and bl. I declined , he called back in january and asked me the same thing i once again declined.

Fast forward yesterday i spoke to ford on FB telling them i though it was ridiculous that i was unhappy with the entire process. Ford customer agent called and did absolutely nothing except apologize. No answers on when or why simply told me to speak with the dealer.

I am pretty pissed

Cant wait for the truck but ford is a joke

Sorry to hear about your trouble; I can understand what you're going through. Ford Service on FB is a joke--don't bother with them, they add no value. I don't know specifically about the carbon fiber, but I can tell you that the forged beadlocks are being produced, so hang in there. My dealer had 7 allocations, with about half with the beadlocks. At this point, 2 of the 7 trucks have been delivered, both with the beadlocks, and both ahead of those with the standard cast wheels. Good luck to you and I'm sure the tide will turn soon for you!

FWIW, I was chatting with my dealer the other day and he said that currently Ford can only keep up with about 70-80% of the CF orders and 30-40% of the BL orders....

Do you men 70-80% beadlock and 30-40% of CF? that makes more sense.
