Oilfield (soon to be) raptor owner here. I do health and safety for an oil/gas company.

Currently driving a cummins 6.7l (personal truck). Used to be a rig welder on pipelines, but got into safety 4 years ago.

Live in the Eagleford and work in Northwest Oklahoma. Bought my Raptor specifically for the oilfield.

New member, 2013 Tux Screw, Alberta oilpatch, bought the truck for work. Training, so I haven't run the Raptor in the field yet, although it is in camp and available. Spent a week riding shotgun on the lease roads in a 2014 GMC "All Terrain"...when I drove out after my 8 day shift, the difference to my Raptor was amazing...night and day. I will post pics when I have some. Cheers!

Edit: I will be needing tires by spring...I am wondering what tire will work best year round...truck will see ice, snow, gravel, mud and from what I hear, extreme mud at break-up in spring. KO2? Duratrac? Other?

Got my raptor around the same time I was being promoted to be a track hoe operator.. I know I made the right choice in truck whenever I drive down these county roads and row... Started in Kenedy, Tx. Now I'm in Midland/Big spring, Tx

No Substitution / Raptor n Rigs....... a natural. Here are a few experiments that got me here. The one ton "full locking diff VW was excellent albeit underpowered. That 3/4, ton 8 litre Avalanche was an "animal" Raptor still on top for "rig runnin". In 40 years have owned a s..tload of trucks but think I will hold on to this one long as it lasts.
