Ok I searched and I may be wrong but I could not find anyone with this question. Sooo, that being said I’m installing an Innovate PSB-1 boost and ARF gauge that’s all in one does data logging even has a shift light you can program. All great. So question
#1 I need to get a tach signal wire so which wire on the injector harness is the negative? Purple seems to be a common color in the harness

#2 I need a headlight signal so I figured cool back of headlight switch will work so when headlights come on it will dim the unit. Is there a wire I can grab behind the dash or do I have I run a lead up to the headlight for this? I used a test light on back of headlight switch and I’m not getting anything from those wires which indicates it’s the headlight wire.

I looked around any help will be appreciated. I’m on my path to pro charging this beast

you can get this signal from the injector. its the uncommon color. meaning every injector on the drivers side has xxxx/xxxx same color wire and the scond wire is always a different color from the rest.
example.

red/green and blue/white
red/green and purple
red/green and orange/pink
red/green and black/pink

any wire not red/green would be the tach signal. REMEMBER THIS IS AND EXAMPLE. i dont know what the colors are, i dont know what gen your truck is, so the parking light wire to dim the guages is also going to be different

dont use headlights to dim the gauge. use parking lights. the headlight is a - signal so it wont work for you. parking lights are in the passenger kick panel. ********* box. cant miss it
