Have only done 1 oil change so far(4,300 miles). I plan to add the fumoto valve, but switched to a Ford performance filter that is much bigger than the ones from the factory. Also, as most have said only hand tight for the most part. I am hopeful this filter with more surface area will be easier to get a grip on the next time.

So which Fumoto part # is best to use....seeing 2 different links on here for the Fumoto F107SX SX Series Drain Valve and the Fumoto F107N Drain Valve....Dont want wrong one once I'm under the truck doing my 1st oil change..

Either one works. The SX is the updated version with better flow and an easier to use lever.

Does the fumoto drain valve work with the plastic oil pan with the plastic drain plug?

No, you need the Ronin Oil Plug Adapter for Plastic Oil Pan -2017 - early 18 Eco 3.5 Raptor. Its $80 but worth it IMO.

Theres another one for Plastic Oil Pans for $49.99 from UPC I think. I have no experience with that one.

I have the Ronin. Extremely well made and high quality.
