Oil change interval

Hey guys, are we doing oil change at 5k or 7.5k miles? My dealership recommend 7.5k for the gen 3 raptor but I feel like that's a tad long no?

My brother is an engineer at Ford and he goes by the oil change meter on the dash. So.... I guess I will also.

According to UOA, all the good stuff in the oil is gone by about 6200 miles. I do mine every 5k - good time to rotate tires too.

Same. I’ve always changed the oil at 5K and rotated the tires same time with all my previous cars. I have a twin turbo Raptor and I don’t drive it hard. If I did I’d probably do it at 3.5-4K.

Same, Mobil One, dump the tiny bit of oil in the FP catch can, and rotation, at 5K. It's also a good time for a deep clean of the interior to remove any incriminating DNA and goat hair out of the truck.

I have been hearing oil is cheaper than engines talk a lot recently between forums and vehicle discussions. I'm sticking with 5k changes, Mobil1.
