Is my truck a one-off, or have others received the same poor-quality seat covers in their Raptors? I’ve had my truck for about two months. The wrinkles and creases are from the factory. I don’t understand how the supplier and Ford think this quality is acceptable. I can find better seat quality in a $25k vehicle. My 2021 F-150 seats were in better shape at 90k than these are new.

Has anyone gone back to Ford and had them attempt to fix this? If yes, were they able to remove all the wrinkles and creases and get the seat covers as tight as you would expect, or would you suggest not even bothering with Ford and going right to a custom upholsterer?

Thanks for your help.

Some raptor seats come with minor wrinkles and bubbles but yours looks pretty bad. I would take it to the dealer and see what they say. Unfortunately I don’t think there is a quick fix for this condition. How the hell this passes QA/QC is beyond me!

My rear seats have some wrinkles , but nothing near as bad as yours seem to be. I have Recaro front seats and they are wrinkle free. I would definitely take it back to the dealer and demand that they do something about it. Not acceptable.

Hey @LochRaven …your Raptor is not a one-off. Others have had the same issue…including myself. I’m with you on how the QC checks at the supplier and Ford find the wrinkles and loose fitting seat covers acceptable.

I had the covers on the bottoms of both front seats replaced under warranty and the replacements were worse than the factory originals. The covers merely side over a rod on each side of the seat. There is no provision for fasteners to be used to tighten the cover.

I’ve requested an upholstery technician be involved on the next go around. Good Luck!!

I had some wrinkles only on the front seats, both driver and passenger. This is on my 2024 F150 Raptor which I brought it up to my salesperson at the dealership during my inspection after signing the paperwork during the buying
process before driving out of the lot. Brought back to the dealership about a week later. Service Rep was not satisfied either with Ford's quality control. He took a few pictures and submitted to Ford. Ford stated that it was normal wear and would not cover it under warranty. Not happy at all with Ford's response, so decided to get other people involved at the dealership, which they agreed with me that i do understand this type of normal wear and tear for a vehicle that might be at least 5 years old. Not a brand new expensive truck. Long story short, the dealership kept my truck for about 4 days and corrected the issue under their nickel. They took my truck to local custom vehicle upholstery shop and made it perfect. I thank the Service Advisor that pursued this matter to my satisfaction. Don't give up and pursue it up the chain of command of the dealership where you bought it and demand to get it resolved. Can't say too much of Ford quality control (QC) for their lack of quality to say the least. We shouldn't have to go these extremes on a very expensive truck. Keep me posted
