That has not been my experience. I have done it several times with no issues.Also if you have a '10 and your TPMS light is on on the dash you can't fully disable traction control.

You have to hold it down for a LOOONNG time - a lot longer than you feel like you should.On a 2010 6.2? I struggled with o get it to turn off last time I was at the dues and was told that it would not go off due to the tpms light being on.

Clear the low tire warning first TJ. Then you can disable TC
