I think the rear tow hooks are coated code orange for MY25 but I’m sure that’s something 24 folks could order and put on if desired. To my surprise it came this morning and the dealer had to install the beauty rings, they’re growing on me. Probably pick up on Friday if the numbers make sense.
Congrats! Definitely one of those love it or hate it looks-- enjoy her. And hear you on the 25 rear hooks, but not worth waiting on IMHO.

Agreed, they seem fairly easy to swap out and it comes with the originals rings since it’s a dealer installed option, so we’ll see. They definitely grab your attention, in a good or bad way

Well after 2+ years of waiting, dealing with lie after lie at dealerships, lost allocations, etc, etc...my number finally got called in July and my 2024 R was built 9/11/24 in Dearborn and arrived at dealer yesterday.

Initial Thoughts: I loved my '23 w/ 37, but this is next level. Even the instrument dash fonts are much better in 24 than 23; the HUD I still need to mess with (there is some reflection from edges on windshield that I need to put some black tape on); its MUCH smoother than my '23, ride is 10X better; super quiet inside (in regular mode), some complained about droning sound inside--I don't hear any--it's the quietest Raptor inside I've owned; don't know if its the different beadlocks but tires don't look as 'beefy' as my 23 '37 package (I know optical illusion); see they still have same AC issue I had in my '23 where after about 30 min it starts to blow harder (normally that would be a pro lol) and think line is freezing (so back to dealer for that); haven't gunned it too hard (yet) but it's got some serious pep, but I like that it's not whiplash kind of get up and go--more of a build up--I like it; B&O much better--this thing is thumping (same settings as my 37) I must have had some speakers not working on my 37; has the 'new' covers on the shocks that don't corrode; love the new front bumper--looks killer; only one day old so will post up more thoughts after 30 days.

Is R worth it over a standard '37 package--the answer is a resounding hell yes. MSRP on 24 w/37 is like $94K, this is $114K...R is no brainer if you can get MSRP (or whatever your pocketbook thinks is fair). Would be very hard for me to go back to regular '37 now (and I loved that truck).

First and last time w/ tire shine :)

Nice! Congratulations man, I agree the code orange looks great with the antimatter blue, black too. I’ve hemmed and hawed over the rings, I think it’s too much for me personally but it looks killer!

I have two on order, both priority code 19 and at two different dealerships. Identical builds, Antimatter blue, twin roof and graphic delete. They are retail orders for 2025 and at MSRP.

Waited over 2 years for this machine and finally have it! Might be the last avalanche made. Ended up paying $10K over. This thing is worth every penny. I had a 2018 Gen2 and this V8 is insane in comparison. Wife has the Bronco Raptor and couldn't let her have bigger tires than me,

Proud owner of a 2024 Raptor R in Avalanche Grey @ $5K over MSRP. I was told that it'd be a ~year to receive my R when I placed the order in earoly August, but it was delivered just last week! Since I thought I had a bit of a wait and frankly wasn't sure if my order would ever be processed, I traded my 2022 Raptor (non R) for a 2024 GMC 2500 AT4X to see if I preferred it. Long story short, I didn't, lol (main gripe was that the seats and driving position/comfort were terrible compared to my Raptor and previous F-250). Somehow, I ended up losing just $1,500 for my trade (all-in), not bad considering the AT4X was just 6 weeks old! Anyways, I couldn't be more pleased. If you don't tow much, this is the best truck ever made. Change my mind...

You lucked out only losing $1500 on your AT4X. I almost bought one that was 6 months old with 4K miles on it for $16K off sticker. They tend to drop in value pretty quick, so you must have gotten a good deal on the purchase. I agree, AT4X seating/driving position just isn't quite right. Can't get it anywhere near as comfortable as the Raptor or a Super Duty. Enjoy your R!
