Imagine offroading in the woods and brushing up against brushes and sticks .. brushes and sticks will pinstripe your paint .. an analogy to artist who pinstripe their hot rods. I hope this make sense.

Like I said just wrap your truck and be done with it.

I can't say I know what those are but they sound bad!

I was thinking about the same problem. I see so many black Raptors & they look AWESOME! But how the hell do you prevent the swirl marks? A truck that's meant to get dirty ought to have a paint job that's just as tough/durable.

Performing a proper 2 bucket wash is THE key for prevention swirl marks. High quality wash pads/mitts, a pH neutral soap, grit guards, and good technique will keep your paint swirl free for a long time!

Along with good pre soak/pre rinse and good car wash shampoo for lubrication. I use Adams, and it's incredible.
