The SVC and RPG bump stop kit are very similar in the way they mount and thus interference with the springs may occur. This thread confirms that WSI springs interferes with both bump stop kits.

Think it depends on the bumpstop but I can state as a matter of fact that it does with the RPG bump stop.

Won't you run into the bumpstop interference again with the WSI springs?

most likely, yes, and if I do and I like the WSI HDs I'll pull the back bracket or pull the bolt and have it spot welded. this is all TBD

On another note, when i called to order the HD springs, I spoke with Jimmy and he suggested going back to the OEM shackle instead of the drop shackle I have in there now (that came with the WSI SDs) So I'm going to give that a try and run the Deavers with it for a while. That should give me the inch back That I lost with the loaded bed.

When its all said and done I hope to have driven on all three springs and have chosen one that meets my somewhat unique needs. The nice thing so far is that quality is consistent with both and the ride quality is so much better than stock and so close that I feel like I can't go wrong. I'll just follow my ass meter and the lines of the truck and see where they take me.

I'll keep y'all posted.

You are one lucky dude to be able to compare......

no doubt and I don't take it for granted; ever. ....I worked my ass off for a lot of years and successfully made it through some horribly difficult and terrifying times with my business and the economy. Then I married an awesome woman (with a strong income) who likes it when i smile, even if its from being covered in grease or duck hunting.

lucky for sure and not taking any chances with it!

The interference isn't that big of a deal. The WSI springs have an extra clamp that the other springs do not have. Just remove that clamp/bend it back if you have one of those kits.

Awesome...Deavers!

Excellent timing on the Deaver Sir...I was thinking of a set myself and could not find too much about them here. I just wonder about possible interference issues with ICON bumpstop installed...Thanks for sharing the info/experience...
