Anyone have any good recommendations for spots to go in/around Asheville? My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and my girlfriend and I were looking for a spot to spend a few days, do some exploring, and some Raptor-ing.

Im totally in. I live up in Durham and haven't yet taken the truck on a trail out as im new to offroading with a truck. I know of Uhawarrie but had thought that most of the trails were narrow for a raptor as all I ever saw down there were Jeeps coming back all beat up.

Yeah, I definitely don't consider Uwharrie, or much east coast off-roading, "Raptor Friendly". Though last time I was there I did see somebody in an H2 on a pretty gnarly trail (Dicky Bell). I think when mine sees dirt it will probably be at one of the closer TORR events like VIR or Durhamtown. Most of what we can do out here is narrow trail riding or rock crawling. Puts the Raptor at a huge dis-advantage in regards to width, break-over, and departure angle. No Baja style playgrounds that I know of where they can truly shine.
