Sarah’s Creek, Hurricane Creek, Old Buzzard Roost, tons of forest service roads in Pisgah NF, Old NC 101.. etc. Also some great trail riding in North East Georgia Mountains. Plus you are pretty close to the Tail of the Dragon out there if you want to try some on road spirited driving. Uwharrie could be fun but some trails just get too tight and traffic flows in both directions.

Damn I would have loved to but that’s about 8.5 hrs from me. Too quick of a turn around for work schedule. Maybe next time!

Just made a trip to Black Mountain and Lake Lure area. 6 hours from me. The Raleigh area or Falls Lake area would be more practical for me.
