San Antonio here. Was leaning towards the Nittos anyways, just thought it a little weird that they were saying they think it will be a few months before they get anymore Toyos.

That is odd, they might just be trying to move some readily available Nitto's.

Ordered the Nittos at lunch today for $280/tire. Discount Tire told me Toyos are on back order and the best price was way higher than anything I've heard before.

Yeah that crossed my mind too. Had nothing but good luck with them so hopefully they aren't playing those kind of games.

Sounds like my exact conversation with one of the stores here except for 310something/Nitto...

Nittos installed. 35x1250x17 on Method NVs. So far I've driven from Discount Tire to my house and then from my house to the airport. Hard to formulate an opinion thus far. However they are a bit louder (obviously all terrain to mud) and can slightly notice the added weight. But ride well so far. Was wanting the Toyos but no one seemed to have any as all shops claimed national back order.

We side with the Toyos... It's like comparing green apples and red apples, both are good, but you may like one better than the other.

The reason we go with Toyos is we feel they are a bit quieter on the road, have a more aggressive look to them, and I feel perform just a smidge better than the Nittos, but that's personal preference. Either one you go with you'll be happy I'm sure.

Yea, Toyos are a rare commodity nowadays, stores cant keep them in stock, so they sometimes, if they want to gauge you, charge a premium for them.

Toyos are great. The noise seems fairly low to me and I do a lot of hwy driving. They have a very aggressive look and seem to last forever. I replaced my last set when they reached 42,000 miles and they could have racked-up many, many more miles, I
I just got tired of looking at them!

I do make sure to rotate them religously every 5000 miles which is a real pain since i run about 2500/ month.

Do Toyos come in 37"? I was looking at their website and it only went to 35", but I'm on my iPad and was wondering if I was just not able to scroll down the list...
