Welcome and congrats. Saw a tv add today where gmc says they have the new exclusive locking rear diff. Think they are a little late on that one. Jack

Thank you for all the welcomes!

First the mileage isn’t as bad as you all make it out to be. I got 17.8 on my 63 mile commute to work this morning. I am averaging 16.1 for the first 600 miles. That includes driving in 4 & 5 to vary the RPMs. This morning I got into it getting on the highway. WOW! I love the power. Can’t wait to run it WOT.

My only complaint is what’s up with Ford’s headlights? They are weak compared to GM’s dedicated and dual high & low. I did a wiring mod with a diode to allow all 6 (high, low and fogs) on with the Av. I see most of you have light bars. I will have to look into some fogs or light bars.

Does anyone have train horns? They fit nicely under the driver’s rear quarter panel on the Av. I need to find a spot for them on the Raptor.

We are headed to Silver Lake next Wednesday – Sunday with 7 families. We are staying in the state park lots 20-31 on the outer loop, stop by for a beverage.

I had that happen to me a lot when I first got the truck, but ever since I put my LED lights on the hood mounts nobody has done it. I've been waiting for someone to be an ass about it and leave their brights on too, so I can crank on the LEDs but nobody has :ROFLJest:

Ok weak was not the right word. The lows work great, the highs work great but after coming from a truck with all 6 on for highs, I have been spoiled. Besides I can tell the wife it is a safety issue so I HAVE to get a light bar. Now to convince her not having a train horn is a safety issue.........
