Hmm I take it back then, I must have been thinking of a different toyo - most of the toyos and nittos are super heavy though.

The Toyo R/T's and M/T's are heavy.

M/T's are a lb or two away from 80lb.

I was going to still rock the R/T's until I read some issues with them in the rain.

After much deliberation and research, I went with the Toyo A/T 3. Have had Nitto Ridge Grapplers and BFG KO2s, but these might be my favorite. Something about the look that I just like. Rides great so far. Definitely not as heavy and sluggish and squared off as the RGs, and a little more beefy than the KO2s.

I’m not much of an off-roader. Most of my miles are suburban and highway, with occasional dirt roads. Works great for my purposes. Not worried about mud or snow or rock punctures in the Houston suburbs.

No remorse yet— we’ll see if that stays the same in the coming weeks…
