I've had 5% tint before and couldn't even see out of my window at night, had to drive around with the windows down. Making left hand corners in the darkness was always difficult. And if it was also raining then you were REALLY blind. While it looks awesome, it definitely has its downsides

Yeah I had same issue even w/ 10-15% depending on vehicle- I kept it to 20% or whatever is close to match the factory tint.

That being said - on the raptor it looks great especially w/ the contrast to the grey (lead foot?) love the paint color, even more than my agate black

Hopefully I won't run into any issues - first time I tinted anything this dark. This color is the magnetic grey - the leadfoot is a lighter and duller. Leadfoots still look really good though.

i'm in law enforcement and have a waiver to get past that.

So this is why in ga I dont have to be law enforcement to have windows that dark. Some rich kid took it to state court. I believe it is 'love vs state' or something like that. I've got it in my P.I. file

In NY I had to remove the front tint... too much hustle with law enforcement.

All it is, is a form that I fill out from the state troopers office that i get notarized stating I'm in law enforcement and allow to have darker tint than normal , in law enforcement sometimes we have to use our POVs for work in certain situations . I can still get pulled over for it but I have to have the stamp in my truck. It's nothing that serious.

I've heard of some places where you can get a waiver if you have abnormal photosensitivity as well. I've thought about trying that but dont want some silly restriction because I want dark glass.

I've had 20% on the front and it's a hair too dark for my liking. Too many fools running no headlights for me to be comfortable.
