Thanks gents. Is ceramic coating with a few grand or is it a waste of money on an off-road truck like this? My colleague had his Trackhawk ceramic coated and is trying to talk me into it. Seems like a lot of money for not much return. A good quality polish and wax should protect the paint and keep it glossy, no?
Welcome Aboard! Nice Truck.

My two cents on ceramic. You can do it yourself if you have the space and have a day or two. I personally use Adam's Graphene Ceramic Coating (Advanced). Avalanche is a forgiving color for paint correction unlike some of the darker colors (my black Explorer takes more correction). Prep the paint (Iron remover, clay bar, compound (if needed), polish, etc.) and then apply the coating. Your only in a few hundred bucks and still have product left over. I have friends that have paid thousands for ceramic coating and I can't tell the difference and I have the satisfaction of doing it myself. Not knocking anyone who gets it done but I need the extra gas money.

Thanks guys. Looking at lighting upgrades for the beast, also got the Weathertech window louvers ready to go in. May also do a tune once the tuners unlock the 2024 ECU. I can’t stand that auto stop/start feature!
