Will be interesting to see what the cause of the issue was. Did it just pop the warning or did it also make sounds or do think that pointed to an issue?

Dealer checked system, claims no errors or codes found... all is normal... well, I'm not real comfortable with that but I'll take it on the beach again and see what happens... I'll be taking photos if it happens again...

Hmm.. Had it been raining?
On the Gen 1 the 3rd brake light got water in it and cause the advance trac issue.

Congrats on the truck. Only a few days over a month wait, you CANNOT beat that.

The truck is probably feeling you out as much as you are feeling it out. Truck got worried and went into limp mode.

Repeat what you did and see if it happens again.
