New Guy Bricked his Raptor- How long to install "Recovery File" ?

Good Morning!

No bashing intended by any of this, however I'm in need of some assistance.

I have a SCT x4 Tuner from 5 Star Tuning. There was apparently a stock SCT tune on it which installed without problem. Through no fault of 5 Star, I mistakenly believed I was installing a 5 Star tune, and when we realized that this was incorrect, the device was updated with the 5 Star tune. I reset to factory and attempted to install the 5 Star tune, however it didn't work, truck would not start.

SCT provided the Recovery File within a couple of hours, and 5 Star has been excellent to deal with.

At approximately 6 PM yesterday, I started installation of recovery file, 15 hours later, it's still showing "Processing Data- This may take some time, Please Wait..."

I have a battery charger connected while this is happening.

I'm looking for suggestions, advice, etc. regarding what to do. Flame suit on. Fire away!

Well, the only people who can help you recover 5-star crap are the 5-star goons. You can pull the ECU and send it off to ANY tuner other than 5-star goons or the dealer to get it reloaded with stock tune.

My Diablo sport would get hung up back in the day. Just had to unplug it and try again. Make sure your radio is off and whatnot

Issue Resolved Friday 8/23. Unfortunately 5 Star, who was very accessible during the entire process, needed SCT to call me to diagnose and troubleshoot. I didn't know this until the day before, however SCT does not have a phone number that they will give you for calls to them. That's all handled via email. SCT reached out to me a couple of days after 5 Stars request, and we did get the tuner to reset the truck to factory.
