As far as the dead pedal mount angle goes it should more or less be the same as the gas pedal right?

Let me know if the test / fit up truck doesn't work out, I am in Portland and can drop my truck off for the measuring and fit up. Shoot me an email.

Here is how one of the guys from the Z did it with a pedal from a 90's mustang. Personally, I think it is too small. I think you would be making a mistake by not anchoring it to the floor. If you are running hard you are going to want some real meat in that pedal

I disagree on the mount. A well designed dead pedal would NOT require drilling holes in the truck to mount it. That's why I haven't bought one yet. In my not so humble opinion, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Raptor that requires drilling holes in it. And I am sure as hell not going to drill holes in it just to mount a dead pedal.

Not everything is going to be plug and play i don't mind drilling a few hole just as long as it's not in the floor.

I have no concerns over drilling holes, done is several times already. I would prefer a mount that does not require cutting the floor mat, just from a function perspective, keeping the mat whole will keep water and mud and crud out of the carpet.

I would like one that;
1) Is like the one posted here that mounts behind the carpet
2) One that is solid so that when I put weight on it offroading it's solid
3) I prefer black
4) I'd like a non-slip finish or the dimples, or perhaps the rubber studs like the ones on Custom Aluminum Vehicle Pedals - ULTIMATE PEDALS
5) A raptor logo is desirable as long as it's not too pimp
