Well, I recognize some familiar names from other forums, but I'm new around here.

Just traded in my 2010 Camaro SS/RS 6.2L and drove home in a 2010 Blue Flame SVT Raptor 6.2L on October 18th !

Pretty psyched, and love the truck.

Unfortunately realized I have a pretty bad paint flaw when I got home... so hopefully that gets sorted out... Possibly a factory paint flaw, but looks like a botched touch up.... Dealer denies that it was damaged by them at this point.. But says it'll be covered under warranty.

Anyways, One more Raptor in the Vancouver, BC area

Yeah,

this is the paint issue. Much worse in person.

Pretty peeved about it. Not sure the best way to get it resolved. Dealers saying warranty covered repair... no expense... but my fear is that they did it to begin with, as well as the fact they had the truck for a good half a year... test drove it for 125 KM's.... and maybe caused the damage , covered it, and concealed it from me... I am certain they in the very least had a customer point it out if one of them hadn't noticed it... Probably explains why it sat there for so long.

As for the site, I am a google-aholic. I find everything eventually.
I've been lurking but reluctant to post until my deal went through as it was looking like it wasn't going to pan out for a while there. I have been scowering the interwebs browsing the Raptor sites since early 09.. This site just happened to be in the top 5 search results while I was googling Raptor forums.

I have lurked a lot/posted a little bit in the Raptor sections of various F150 and Ford fan-sites in addition to svtoffroad and raptorforumz

I know some people aren't keen on "rival" forums.... buuuuut I'm not here to stir the pot.. I just like to talk about & read about & see some pix of Raptors. :p

Welcome Mayhem!
I'd agree that paint touch up looks like a 5 year old did it - hopefully the warranty repair makes it go away.
I'm heading from Calgary to Mission BC next weekend and would love to go play on some trails if you know of some good ones out there...

Welcome.
We don't really play the whole rivals game around here.
Besides..... The depths of our sick humor is pretty unrivaled to begin with.
This is the cut-loose Raptor board. Enjoy yourself and be yourself..... We're here to have fun, not police your posts and try to play Internet Dictator Commando.
Our style is a lil' more laid back and dirty, if you will.
Dig in.

Welcome!
Hope to see that paint fixed!

This forum is in a class of 1. You will not find another like it, ever, anywhere, garanteed or Birdman will shit on ESADs car (which isnt a Raptor)

Edit: Maybe Birdman should shit on ESADs car anyway?

It was. The dealer flew my 5 year old son up to Canada. They wanted an authentically botched job.

As for trading the Camaro, I'm currently wrestling with whether or not I'll part with my G8 GXP since its rarely driven. I'm sure that'll be even less when the new truck arrives. Its tough to justify a sizeable payment on a vehicle that doesn't get driven. Decisions, decisions.

Welcome to the board from another new guy!
