Sorry to here that. Im very close to picking up a raptor from the same dealer you got yours from. (I know because i saw your black SS in the show floor, and my sales guy said someone had traded it for a Raptor) Im not going to mention the name of the dealer, but it is quite a bit of a drive main st and se marine drive? I was thinking bout importing from the us, but just dont have the time. Lemme know how the dealer treats you. When i was test driving, my sales rep floored it over like 5 speed bumps in a industrial parking lot off one of the service roads there so... Yea. Cheers.

It was. The dealer flew my 5 year old son up to Canada. They wanted an authentically botched job.

As for trading the Camaro, I'm currently wrestling with whether or not I'll part with my G8 GXP since its rarely driven. I'm sure that'll be even less when the new truck arrives. Its tough to justify a sizeable payment on a vehicle that doesn't get driven. Decisions, decisions.

Welcome to the board from another new guy!

Well your son did a great job on my truck ! 3 times !

lol.

At this point, I don't have anything decent left to say about them.. If you go with them.. Good luck.. and inspect the hell outta your vehicle.. And don't believe a single word they say period... And I hope you didn't end up with one of the sales guys I had. Nightmare. Super pushy and super full of shit. You'll know if you got him. (I know that sums up a lot of car sales ppl but.. ths one in particular is a piece of work) Couple of the others seem decent and the last one I dealt with was good.

I just got my truck back after being in for the THIRD time to be repainted after they botched it the first two times... This third time was the biggest insult ever... They had my truck for a week... and didn't even repaint the panel.. They gave it back the way I gave it to them and tried to tell me they painted it.. It had all the exact same issues in the exact same locations.. posting another picture would be pointless because it would look identical!!
Interior of my truck was filthy everytime I got it back.

Now they're not returning my calls.

I now found paint bubbling similar to their last bubble on the fender on the OPPOSITE side.... and am starting to grow concerned that they painted the wrong damn side. If this turns out to be the case... I don't even know what my rights are in regards to taking action. But you can be sure I am goin to be looking into that.

At this point... Ford hasn't been helping me much but ... going to be calling them back thru the customer relations line.... not that it has done me any good... and most likely going to go the BBB route. And hope that another dealership can help me out with the paint issue.

Some of their employee's seem like good people but.. the experience has been non stop terrible.. the communication terrible.. the lies are constant.

I also got my truck back with half a tank of gas... I gave it to them full so I think someone just took it for a joy ride during the recent snow fall.. rather than paint it.

I'm a busy guy and don't have all the time in the world to keep driving down there.. I'm pretty far out. But they've had my truck longer than I've had my truck since I bought it.

They have done nothing to make any of the crap they put me through "right". And at this point I don't think they can. One of them did have some scratches buffed out for me... But that hardly makes up for all the crap I'm going through. Their claim to "making things right" for me.. was... that they were doing me a favor by repainting it under warranty.. I don't see that as them doing anything... Ford covering it under warranty is helpin me out, and them botching the paint is wrecking my damn truck. The dealer is doin squat. And gettin paid for it while joy-riding in my truck.

Personally having been face to face with all the local dealers... I am pretty dissappointeded.. Ford is very poorly represented out here. They were all terrible. Richport's assistant sales manager? Seemed like the straightest shooter of them all, and the least ********.. Honest, and eager to help but not over the top pushy or full of BS promises.. If they had the truck I wanted, I would have definately given them my business, but all their trucks were fully optioned. The other sales guys there were more or less the same as @ the other dealers.

Bottom line though is that I am being lied to frequently, and am not even the slightest bit content with my business @ this dealer... I do not recommend them whatsoever. You don't exactly have many great options though locally... so good luck whatever route you go.. I feel ya on not having the time... I didn't want to deal with any of the stresses of importing from the US, nor do I have the time... That is definately the way I wanted to go. Getting mine via the trade in... was just one extra complication for me.

I'll kill that rant there and leave it at that... I am pretty choked though.. Just got my truck back the other day this way. And been gettin the run around since.. After the guy innitially told me he'd have it sorted out and fixed monday. (its going on wednesday) and he told me that on saturday?

Shoulda called Randy :)
I'm playing with Ford customer service too, due to their fuckups with my nav setup and stereo - but not having any luck. My grandad was a 50 year veteran at Ford so I will pull some strings. If I get anywhere, I will certainly let y'all know because I do know they still believe in word of mouth and repeat customers.
more later.
