2014 SuperCrew with 18k miles.

Picked her up Jan 2014.

Didn't test drive.

I may go up tomorrow. I talked myself into keeping the truck. Never know when I need to get out of dodge in bad snow/mud/shit weather.

Still want to see what I think after I drive it.

Damn it seems like they are going up in value over the past couple months. Also M5's can be had for so cheap a couple years down the road. Its amazing to me how fast and by how much the bottom drops out of them.

I m on the fence about trading it but am I afraid I would regret it. Oddest thing is I usually don't get this feeling with any cars as I am usually on to the next one but not with the raptor. Just something about them.

I am in MD but up in AA county, out of curiosity where is the M5? Besides not like we get enough snow here that would prevent you from driving an M5.

Raptor is the first vehicle I've ever owned that I can honestly say I want to keep forever. Once it's paid off next year I'm going to pick up a 2003 E39 M5. Still the ultimate sports sedan of all time in my opinion. They can be had for $15K easy.

I took Raptor in for some minor warranty work last week. while waiting for ride home i was looking at a 2014 tremor 4wd. They had it marked down $13,000 from the sticker price, it had been sitting on lot a long time. Battery was even dead in it. I know the sales manager , started chit chatting he said i can trade in raptor and they would give me the tremor plus $8000 cash . I said no way am i trading in raptor. So i ended up just buying Tremor with 0% percent intrest and keeping raptor. Plus i made them install a new battery. This is the first ecoboost i have driven, Pretty impressive power for a 6 cylinder. New Raptor should run strong with this technology . But the exhaust will never sound like V8. The new Raptor will base price probably just under 50 thousand and option up to 60 thousand. Thats going to help keep older ones value up i think.

Didn't make it up to the BMW place this weekend.

I did, however, go to a Ford dealership up the road from me to see what they would offer.

Ended up test driving a 2016 diesel super duty.

Really like diesels and the fact that they're boosted.

They made me a really good offer on my truck and the super duty.

At the end of the day I decided to keep the Raptor. It's too fun to drive and it's more practical than the M5.

At the end of the year I may revisit selling the Raptor.

And don't forget, the 2017 Super Duty will come out next fall. So if switching to a Super Duty, your 1 year old truck would already be a generation old. Just some additional food for thought.
