Pretty sweet. I ordered the mazzulla offroad bumper today so I'll also be cutting those frame horns. Bumpers just look right when they are cut back.

Had to look that one up, haven't heard of it. Looks killer too. Even more of an approach angle. Curious though, how does it attach to the frame, I didn't see a bolt on the side?

When I talked to them on the phone today, they said it uses one existing bolt and I have to drill another one(per side I believe)

Here's the cad rendering:

It looks like it slides into the frame horns

There was no instructions so we just watched the RPG install video. I found trying to get a perfect straight measurement on something that you can't was frustrating and we spent way too much time trying. Eventually I just said, screw it, its good enough and we started cutting.

Tried to use a plasma cutter but buddy was having nothing but trouble getting it to work good. He got one line cut and after much time, I finally had to say, lets get the grinder out. We only had 4 disc and we used all (cheap HF ones) plus he dropped the grinder a couple times. LOL

We didn't have a lift and just did it in his garage and lighting wasn't the greatest. So not the best of conditions. First side ended up being pretty pathetic, second side almost perfect (different buddy and I did that side). Worried if I ever want to weld back on, will just wait until then to worry about it.

Took like 5 hours from start to finish (with cleanup and breaks). If I had to do it again, would rather pay a professional.

Would it have been better to do it in the driveway during the daytime? Was light a big issue

That's why I'm here! Haha! But glad you got it on, results are well worth it.

You are too far away, wish you were closer. Wouldn't have thought twice about going to your shop. Curious what do you normally charge for this install?

Yea I know too far away!

For JUST this bumper and hook up of light bar (including aux switch), would be ~somewhere~ around $250

If it was multiple (say front & rear bumpers) I'd discount that into a package deal.
