Coming from many previous/current forced induction vehicles its best not to skip any steps based on a budget. You step into a new arena when you go forced induction so always expect to pay more than you think to have peace of mind and reliability. Learned it the hard way once and ended up paying more in the end..

If your interested in the Roush blower, check out our upgrade 650HP package. it is bascially the 590 kit with colder plugs and a custom tune added which will give you an additional 60 HP! As well it will make the truck more fun to drive with better throttle response, shifting, and even improve fuel economy over the base Roush tune. If your set on the Roush kit, still all us as we can get you a better price point! Let me know what you think or if you have any questions. 732-780-0770

Do this and get the Afco heat exchanger, the stock Roush one sucks.

Can you upgrade to 650 hp if you already have a Roush stage 2 pkg? If so, what do I need to do?

Yes by all means, it's really simple...Just load our tune! I also recommend a set of the NGK 6510 spark plugs to go along with it, just for good measure. They will provide a cooler spark and last longer than your stock plugs. Call us anytime to discuss this upgrade 732-780-0770.

Thanks,

Oh man! I am stoked. I will be calling for sure. I would also like to upgrade the existing set up with headers and exhaust first. What is best for SC 6.2?
1-3/4 or 1-7/8? My last truck was not supercharged and preferred the smaller pipes over the big ones as it had more low end torque. mind you I guess it doesn't matter now that I have a blower, thoughts/

Well we use the Kooks and American Racing systems here. My personal favorite is the Kooks True Dual Complete exhaust. Depends on what your looking for out of the system though. I only recommend 1 3/4" headers as the fitment is better and will keep your midrange torque higher than with 1 7/8". I wouldn't recommend 1 7/8" for any vehicle under 800 RWHP.

When I called for a header quote I was told by Nick that the 1 7/8 were better for forced induction..this was a while ago but that's what he suggested.. Is it that big of a difference ?

The 1 7/8 is going to allow more flow which is going to create less back pressure and lead to a few more peak HP. On a blower application this is what you want but you don't want to drop too much back pressure because torque is affected. When your trying to push a Raptor basically a Brick Shit House on wheels, you need Torque. 1 3/4" headers are plenty sufficient even for Supercharged engines up to 750-800 RWHP. Anything less than that your going to see a torque loss from using the bigger headers compared to the 1 3/4". In all of our testing we have found the 1 3/4" to be plenty big enough and make just as much power and more torque in the mid range, which is where you spend 95% of of your time driving. Also they are much easier to fit on an already tight header installation.

Traction bars for wheel hop. I have the phase 2 that I bought after purchasing truck. Beat the shit out of it with stock suspension. Traction bars 500 bucks. You can do a burn out without getting wheel hop. You don't need to upgrade you're drive shaft that's bs. Took it to TRR last year drive shaft is fine. Once again save money it's a street queen get traction bars. When I do have some extra change I will be calling JDM to get some extra ponies out of truck with their tune.
