I didn't have the time to get some reading in on tuning and asked here- got a quick summary that I needed.

I'll ask a friend of mine and look up the emissions.

If headers won't pass won't get them. But still want some performance upgrades.

Are you Configuration Manager (CM) or a School Administrator? You know the person that holds a lot of meetings, and recaps & assigns Action Items at end of every meeting....

I run a pretty tight ship for myself. Task oriented. Focused. Yes, I recap reiterate and obliterate.

Which is why I own my toys instead of a Lendor.

But I can't say the same things after a few drinks.

Got experience with your exact setup, minus the headers.

1. Afe stage 2 intake :from got exhaust.com (awesome price/ great service)
2. 5star tune with economy, 87 performance, 91 performance tunes (great price/ specific for my setup)
3. QTP electric cut out for loud rumble when I want
4. I'm down the way in NorCal for you to hear how loud it is I'm person if you like.

FYI. Latest road trip with the setup left me with a smile ear to ear. Very happy with the economy, sound and performance (power, responsiveness and shift points)

I may have some smog emissions advice as well

If you can show it to me, why wouldn't I take a look-listen? It would be helpful to see how the tuner/exhaust system works in real person and also feel the changes compared from stock (mine) to a tuned system (like yours).

In the parking today I listened for the natural rumble - I hear it as a very deep but low hum while waiting in idle and if I stand outside listening to the engine on...but if I could have a option to change the level of noise that would be sweet

By cut out do you mean the same product as the QTP electric cutout?

Yes I have a flowmaster muffler I'm not sure about the pipe and I Baught a universal cut out off eBay for my truck. I can take a photo of it ans post one
