Need help with Outlaw Lowrance install

Turns out some these units are made for hard flush mounts on a boat. Hence the reason there are no threads.

You can just run 4 bolts through the unit and the mount. You just open the sd card door and pry the gray trim to get to the holes. At first I used the screws that it came with and I guess the threads on the screws could catch just enough, but they eventually weren't holding anymore. So I just ran some bolts through it and it seems solid as hell now.

I am hoping to install my Lowrance tomorrow and wire it to the cig. lighter, I believe the cig. lighter circuit is already protected so I don't need to install a fuse for the Lowrance, correct?

Correct. The cig lighter has a fuse in the fuse panel.
