I lost my key fob but have the extra, non-electronic manual key that I keep in the truck that it came with. Where can I insert this (I know some other fords are like under the cupholder, center console, stuff like that) in order to get the car started? Not at home now so fast responses would be greatly appreciated thanks!

i don't know of a way to start the truck without the keyfob..... still researching....

from manual
The integrated keyhead transmitter functions as a programmed ignition key. It operates all the locks, starts the vehicle and acts as a remote control.
If your programmed transmitters or standard SecuriLock coded keys are lost or stolen and you do not have an extra coded key, you need to have your vehicle towed to an authorized dealer. You need to erase the key codes from your vehicle and program new coded keys.
Store an extra programmed key away from your vehicle in a safe place to help prevent any inconveniences. Contact an authorized dealer to purchase additional spare or replacement keys.

If you have the Ford Pass app and if you have your phone (not locked in the car), you should be able to unlock it and start it with that.

The physical key in my thinking is used to open tailgate, open doors when the battery fails in the truck, so hood can be opened. If keyless you must use a FOB to start. Remote start via ford app requires you to hit start button and brake in order to operator truck. I believe you need a fob to do this.

Put the fob in the hole under the cupholder and it will start. The physical key is for the spare, console lock, doors, etc.

But you won't be able to drive it.
