Sorry to hear Greg! Keep us posted

Believe it or not roadside assistance was there quicker than I expected.. Which was a good thing because the truck was not in a safe area to get a ride home find everything and drive back (a good hour there and back). The truck would have been stripped/stolen/vandalized by then.
As far as the tuner, I could have reflashed stock tune, but would not been able to drive cycle the truck and it would be very obvious a tune had been on there..

I am hoping they are cool about everything..

Okay, shop called.. Truck is running great.. Antifreeze 1 qt low, oil level is a little high but okay. "can not duplicate problem. We are going to let it run and then drive again. As of right now you can pick up your truck this afternoon"

Not to ask stupid questions but did they run it long enough to get the block and heads heat soaked? If it is a seal issue thermal expansion will likely play a role in weather it leaks or not. Along that same line "how" you heat up the motor could make a difference. letting it idol so it heats up slow and even might not result in a noticeable leak (yet) but a bit of spirited driving from cold may result in what you experienced Greg.

Hope they find something.

I am going to make sure they go thru it with a fine tooth comb.. That is after remove cai, tune, and drive cycle the ecm.. Then I will go back and get service manager involved.. Because what is going on is not right..

Thankful this is going on now and not during SNOball 500. Everything happens for a reason..

Did you have an oil cooler failure. If you get an oil sample let it seperate in a container to see if its coolant. Coolant will sink and oil will float due to differences In specific gravity. Good luck with it.
