Well if they use a HASH to verify the package is correct then any changes you make to the zip with the raptor flash would then make it think the package is corrupt and not install

Did see one interesting flash file.
There is one for EZ Trailer Backup Assist. Isn't that what ford was demoing on the Atlas Concept Truck

Very good point @SilentShooter on the corrupt files.

The EZ trailer back up assist I remember from the Atlas for sure

The only way to fix this is the change the file in the download. I noticed it was just a bunch of compressed files and I started going through them and was able to view a lot of the graphics. I noticed they are using damn Flash files for the animation.


Lol, you'd think it would be a Silverlight animation being that it's Sync by Microsoft.

silverlight is not supported on windows RT even. so you will not see it as part of Sync.


Fair enough, I don't know anything about windows these days ... since about 98 or 2000. Just struck me as funny!

Also, I called SYNC and they had me do a master reset which didn't do anything but delete all my wallpapers...again. Called them back and they told me the dealership could fix it so I called the dealership. They'd never heard of this problem and said, "We can take a look at it, but I don't know if we can fix it." We all know what that means!

Looks to me like they went with one big update for all Ford vehicles instead of going the extra mile and making one specifically for the Raptor. Call me arrogant, but for a premium vehicle we should get premium service.

This is exactly what they told me. I called back again and finally talked to someone that said it has been reported once back in October. She was very nice and actually talked to the tech and called me back. She said that it could be fixed by the dealer.
