My Ford Touch Sync Update Gen2-V3.7

So on the Ford website I only see the Gen 2-V3.6 available for my 2013, but if I try to install the Gen 2 V3.7, would it work or cause a severe mess ?

We don't know if the europe maps really work actually ? Nobody tested ?

I might have some good news. I finally found someone with sync and they said that the dealer should be able to fix it. I called the dealer and he had no clue. So tomorrow i'm going to go in and talk with them and see if I can get them to call the sync people so they can tell them how to fix it. Wish me luck. lol

Lost SVT Raptor Splash as well

I watched the upload process in the truck for about 25 minutes and never noticed an "Option" to keep the SVT Raptor splash. I'm going to drop by the dealership tomorrow and see if they can arrange for it to magically reappear.

Probably not going to happen, but worth a shot. The usually cannot back configure it to a previous version. I am sure someone in the world has been able to hack the system to get whatever we want at startup, but then we would have to have it 'hacked' each time we got an upgrade...

Seems like something Ford should just not take away from the start up screen. If I wanted a 'regular' F150, I would have saved some cash and got one that doesn't say Raptor on start up... Just my 2 cents.

The only way to fix this is the change the file in the download. I noticed it was just a bunch of compressed files and I started going through them and was able to view a lot of the graphics. I noticed they are using damn Flash files for the animation.

So in theory, if you downloaded the files onto a thumb drive, then looked very carefully at the two files to figure out which 'flash files' are which and 'in theory' bring the Raptor splash back to the screen by removing and placing the correct flash file in its place, then put it in the vehicle? Almost seems too easy.

Yeah pretty much I am thinking but need to find the Raptor flash file. Perhaps in the previous version 3.6.2, if it was a download?
