Well, I went back and apparently the guy who knows what to do was too busy to talk. lol So they want me to drop it off next week so they can work on it. Still don't think they have a clue what I'm talking about when I explain what is going on.

I did the reset a several days ago at the advice of SYNC tech support and already posted about it. All it did was erase my phone from SYNC memory and delete all my wallpapers! There is no fix in settings. It's in the software itself! The Raptor animation file has just been replaced with the Ford one. That's ridiculous that they even suggest a master reset will work. The techs are just reading from a script. What's the script say is the next step after the reset doesn't work? Take it to the dealer. Exactly what they told me on the phone when the reset didn't work for me. What did the dealer say when I called them? We don't know what you're talking about but we'll take a look at it.

We're screwed on this one unless they put out a raptor specific update or a patch! Now skip to the end of the script and get on with fixing the problem!

When you take your Raptor back to the dealer tell them to add this file to the SYNC system. EA5T-14F496-MA This is Raptor specific and must be done by the dealer.

Called dealer and even with that number they had no clue.

So how much is it costing you guys to get your Raptor animation back? I don't think my dealer would just do it for me. But I haven't been down there to ask. Still debating doing the update or not.
