Resurrected an old thread, but I pulled my faults with forscan and didn't want to clutter that thread. I wanted to see if any one has any experienced this/ and or if it is worth a trip to the dealer. I have a 2019 with 6K miles. Forscan and pedal commander are my only mods. No issues at all up to this point. I was running around today and I parked for ten minutes. I used the app to start my truck, and when I got in the dash was like a Christmas tree with the following faults:
  • Wrench Icon
  • Collision Warning Not Available
  • Traction Control On
  • Hill Start Assist Not Available
  • Collision Sensor Fault
  • Hill Start Assist Fault
  • Supplemental Restraint Fault
  • Powertrain System Fault
  • Hill Descent Fault
  • Emergency break functionality limited
I had no throttle response. Multiple quick succession restarts, and the faults remained. I turned it off, and let it sit for 5 minutes. I restarted it and everything was fine, and has been since. I pulled my codes, which are below. Do you think this is a transient gremlin? or should I get this checked out? seems to me like there was a crazy communication error and a restart cleared it?

Those alerts for previously set DTC, not current seem to implicate the pedal commander. Did you have an issue installing it, or are you running around in “sport +4” on the P/C ? (Jayzuss.. I can’t imagine the throttle response on that)

I haven’t seen the Christmas tree on the dash, but definitely sounds like a module not liking something and crying about it.

I run it city -2. No issues installing it or in use until this point (or after)

My Pedal Commander made my truck do similar. It was very occasional, until it wasn't. Happened several times the last day I used it, limped the truck home, removed it and threw it in the trash. Never any problems like this with out it installed.

I got the Burger Pedal Tuner, $100 cheaper but no bluetooth (never used the bluetooth). Been running it for a few weeks, no issues yet.

FYI, I did buy the Pedal Commander used, so who knows. Maybe the wires were stretched or..? It worked great when it worked.

@Nibbl3s, is your PC a bluetooth model?

I’ve never had this come up and have run a P/C since sometime in ’17.

Nope it’s the original model. I ran it on my 17 for two years with no issues. I vaguely remember something similar happening once in startup, but I am not sure

I don’t want to remove yet, in hopes this was a random gremlin. I just hope this doesn’t occur when the car is moving

Maybe re-do the p/c install? if you don’t have a good connection, not seated correctly, strange things can happen.
