Magnapack. Nothing wrong with the typical Flowmaster swap but so many do it where I'm from, I wanted a different sound.

I just bought a Borla Pro XS 40349. Will be doing a swap and cutting the tips off on Friday. Supposed to be no drone and a little more sound.

I just installed the Magnaflow. Can't recall the model number, but it is the 18" single in/dual out. No drone at all. In fact, so sound at all. Not a fan. I had a Flowmaster on my other truck which I loved. I got talked into this one. It will be up for sale shortly in the Garage Sale Forum.

Bar, would you kindly post the model number of the Magnaflow muffler? I'm curious. I installed a #12388, also single in/dual out, but a 24" model. It's very definitely not quiet, and certainly louder than the factory muffler.

I unbolted my stock exhaust at the y pipe. No muffler or resonator. Shit sounds like a trophy truck.

Yep. 12288. I was contemplating the 14" (12198). Went with the 18".

Your 12288 is the same design as my 12388, except that mine is 6 inches longer. Mine is louder than the factory muffler, no question about it. How do you compare yours to the factory muffler???
