What kind of mpgs are you getting? Better or worse than stock?

It really depends on how you drive it. After adding the tune to mine, I am averaging high 13s to low 14s with 37s. I have a hard time staying out of the boost, so your mileage may be higher if you can.

I also have a Gen 1 with the 6.2 and I never see better than 12 and as low as 9 when I am towing... :(

Of course, if you really care about MPGs, you would not have bought a Raptor in the first place!

I understand what you are saying about driving style. I went from an H2 getting 9 mpg to a lifted 4Runner getting 13 to the Raptor. So no I don’t care about mpgs. But I was still curious if all else being equal, if the MPT tune got better gas mileage than the stock tune. It would be nice to say the Raptor is the most economical car I have owned in the last 10 years.

My gas mileage seems to be about the same with, or without, the tune. I'm guessing the tune inherently uses more gas, but with the extra power, I don't find myself hitting the gas quite as hard, hence, I end up accelerating about the same with lower RPMs. Even if it burned a little extra gas, the driving experience with the tune is night and day different; get a tune!!!!

Thinking about trading my 17 for a race red 18 today and I'm wondering should I tune before or after my "break in" period. Also, how has the shift logic changed, i know it wasn't as smooth as people wanted way back when the tune was newer

I waited until I had 2000 miles on mine. The delay was mainly because I was trying to get all the "other" parts lined up at once. I asked for the "smooth transmission" when I bought mine and it has been working great for me. I have 93 PRX, 91 PRX and 93 Tow.

The track was closed this weekend. I'll have to wait until mid September for the next open test and tune to get a baseline for no tune/bolt ons. It'll actually be better because it's been pretty hot this weekend.

Took my 18’ to the track. It was super hot & humid. Was expecting upper 13’s. I have AFE momentum intake, borla Atak with SPD adapters. Made 3 runs all in 4auto in sport mode full brake boost as much as the brakes could hold a little over 2k rpm’s. 2 runs at 14.4@94mph w/ 2.1 60 foots. Things a rocket out of the hole just not enough top end pull. Definitely need a tune next. I do have a ADD front bumper w/ adds a significant amount of weight versus stock.
