Yes I do. The ECU is always adding a little timing, so there is no knock on good 93 octane fuel.

No, to keep the boost pressure and/or Load in check.

Can’t seem to find this answer directly or just missed it.

First, have the MPT tune and super happy with it. Never sure how long I will own any vehicle so wanted to get it on as soon as possible to experience the change. Plus the Auto start/stop was degrading my enjoyment more than it should have. Getting rid of that was worth the price of admission for OCD me..

Question: I have an oil change, the seat belt recall and some frozen door handle warning thing service coming up. For those items should I reload the stock tune? Also, read somewhere in here that you have to drive the vehicle for a bit with the stock tune for it to be readable to their equipment - does anyone know how long/far/start cycles?

I think it is smart to take the tune off before you bring it in. From what I have read, you have to drive for 200 miles for the computer to cycle. Although let’s face if something happens Ford can pull the old data and see it was there anyway, especially if you use FordPass. So I’m not sure why it really matters.

This is my stock 2018 with the MPT tune. Tried a different launch technique, so I wasn't trying to cut a quick light, just a hard launch. It worked pretty well...

That’s a killer slip. What was your new launch technique?

I just got an update from them that dramatically improved how jumpy the truck was, especially in 1st and 2nd. Make sure you have the latest tune!
