Ohh, you paid someone to install it? I'd honestly recommend you personally go and check out what they did. Pop your fuse panel, post a photo for us all.

EVERY TIME a customer reports to us their product (whatever it is) isn't working. 9 outta 10 times they took it to a "professional". Now there ARE some pros out there, but a lot of these shops just don't specialize in aftermarket 12V products. They are "do it all" shops. I'm not saying that is what happened to you here, but, you're having an issue now and i've never seen or heard of anybody blowing fuses from a DRL tap. Sooo something tells me they either used the wrong circuit OR didn't use the right fuses OR tapped into something wrong.

Something doesn't look right there. Can you take some close ups of that fuse tap? I don't see the 2nd fuse tap. Is that the one that came with the Morimoto lights?
Maybe unplug the fuse tap and show photos of the actual fuse tap itself?

Ohh nevermind I see it now. I've been in the sun all day so my eyes are shot. I was looking at the big fuses. I do see 2 different color fuses, so i'd like to see what fuses they are using

Well something is definitely not right, blew the new 5 already looks like.

Ok, so position 36 is a 10, probably why it’s blowing the 5 when I run a 10/5 micro fuse drl there. I assume the minimum needed to run the drl is the 10/5 which is what came stock on the harness, so I think I need to move to position 14 which is a 15 and will hopefully not blow the 5 fuse.

Yeah if you are using the fuse tap in an 10 amp spot, you can't use a 5 amp fuse. You need to use a 10 amp for the main circuit and a 5amp is fine for the DRL

you need 10a fuse for DRL/Bugatti Sequence. 5A blew for me everytime also.
