Ok so had time this morning to attach the DRL harness.

I removed the 10a fuse and plugged in the harness.

2020 raptor.

my daylight lights are enabled in the advanced vehicle settings.

what’s interesting is that the vehicle is set in “auto” headlights.

I now get the outside orange glow but no low beams for daylight, anyone else ?

Fuse location.

Here’s the vehicle in drive (girlfriend in the drivers seat with gearbox set to drive ) with the lights set to auto. (I haven’t done any forscan or anything )

just the orange outline (no center markers or corner markers or tail lights )

This is the vehicle with the headlights turned on manually.

Now my question is... am I just lucky as ideally I wanted my DRLs to only be the amber headlight edges ?

fuse location?

Am I in any sort of danger of running the battery flat with this fuse location?

And remote startup.

the flickering is just from the camera refresh rate and headlights not syncing up.

You should be able to uncheck the drl setting and still get the orange outlines. Drl only comes on when vehicle is out of park. It may turn on all the lights since I don’t believe you have forscan

May have spoken too soon as it looks like my 5a fuse popped in the adapter. Is it safe for me to run 2x 10a fuses in the harness vs the 10/5 from the factory?

Use the same fuse that the factory had. A 10 amp fuse should be fine with the DRL harness

had these for a few days now. Game changer vs v1.
V1 were different then OEM, but V2 are definitely better!

What type of camera are you using for the pictures and video? My only complaint is that it is harder to get good quality pictures of the headlights as the headlights look blobbed together. The headlights look way better in person than they do through pictures.

The headlights lose some of their definition and the white beams blob together with the amber ring depending on your camera:

Rather than appearing like this where the white beams are more separate from the amber:
